Strength Training
Strength and weight training have
taken on a new form. While the extreme fit group is still out there, new groups
have been added. Average men and women have taken a growing interest in there
physical well being. While the levels of commitment vary, training routines still
move in the same direction. Comprehensive exercise programs usually involve both
aerobic exercise and strength training, which is also called anaerobic exercise
and resistance training. Aerobic exercise, such as running and biking, enhances
cardiovascular health and endurance and helps people lose weight, but the many
benefits of strength training, especially among women, are now appreciated more
than ever before.
